Cthulhu: Age of Madness Preview - Cthulhu Elder God Card

Iä! Iä! Cthulhu fhtagn! Ph'nglui mglw'nfah Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!

Cultists have gathered from the dark corners of the world. Preparing the seals that keep the Elder Gods locked away from entering our realm. Ready to usher in the new age of madness. Now go forth and bring your Elder God from the void!

We at Strange Aeon Games have created a series of short videos in order to introduce you to a few of the cards from Cthulhu: Age of Madness, as well as showcase some aspects of gameplay. The first in the series presents Great Cthulhu, and the Cthulhu Elder God card, the most recognized, some might say Greatest, of Lovecraft’s creations.

Cthulhu waits beneath the sea, dreaming. We dare not ponder on what Cthulhu dreams. Cthulhu towers over humanity, with a tentacled head resembling an octopus, atop a bipedal body, with wings too small to be functional.

At the start of a game of Cthulhu: Age of Madness, players choose an Elder God from the four Elder God cards included with the game; Cthulhu, Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth, and Nyarlathotep. The Elder God Card is placed on the table in front of the player, and, as seals are unlocked during gameplay, they are placed on one of the four corners of the Elder God Card. Each time a Seal is unlocked, it triggers the Elder God's Cosmic Primal Power. Cthulhu’s Cosmic Primal Power allows the Player to perform one Convert Cultists Action as a Free Play. Cards associated with Cthulhu have Ribbons and Wax Seals colored Green.

Cthulhu: Age of Madness is coming soon to Kickstarter. Watch this blog, and follow our various Social Media, to keep up to date on what's happening, including a few upcoming giveaways!
